Addiction to drugs and alcohol destroys lives.

It ruins the lives of those who are addicted. And it crushes the lives of the families, friends, and loved ones of those who are addicted.

But there is hope.

At Pathway To Recovery, our caring and professional counselors have helped thousands crippled by addiction return to productive, fulfilling lives.

Since 1977, we’ve helped restore a measure of peace and stability for thousands of families.

Begin breaking the hold addiction has on you, your family, and your loved ones.

How it works

The first step toward recovery begins with just a phone call. A friendly Pathway to Recovery staff member will discuss your situation and arrange a preliminary meeting with a counselor.

Individual counseling is the most basic and most frequent service we provide. It offers clients – either those facing addiction or loved ones living with its consequences – the chance to meet with a certified professional one-on-one.

That initial meeting may help determine the course of future treatment, including:

  • Family Therapy
  • Marital Therapy
  • Teen Therapy
  • Group counseling and therapy sessions
  • Relapse Prevention
  • DUI services
  • In-patient treatment (provided by referral)
  • In-patient detoxification (provided by referral)

Treatment Sessions

Treatment sessions focus on communication, addiction and its causes, developing healthy lifestyles, coping with the emotional and physical effects of addiction, setting and achieving goals, developing personal responsibility, and similar topics.

Counselors work with clients to develop a schedule of sessions so the optimal result is within reach. While breaking the grip of addiction is ultimately the role of the client, Pathway to Recovery counselors work to provide the tools necessary to make that goal a reality.

Privacy

We at Pathway to Recovery understand that addiction to drugs and alcohol not only destroys lives, but it also destroys reputations. That’s why our staff takes confidentiality very seriously. We believe the fear of being discovered should never be a reason to avoid treatment for addiction.

Our location in Downtown Hazleton allows clients easy access to our facilities and it affords them a level of privacy.

Staff

One of the most important parts of the process in breaking addiction is the relationship between the client and their family and the treatment counselor.

At Pathway to Recovery, we have years of experience in building relationships with our clients. Our staff of certified counselors works to quickly build a level of trust with each individual. We clearly outline the goals of the sessions and the overall treatment plan. When necessary, we work with family members and friends to develop a complete system of care and support. Breaking the stranglehold of addiction should not be tackled alone.

At Pathway to Recovery, you never are alone.
